  • How to rule in/rule out mechanical hip and lumbopelvic pain
  • Understand hip FAI assessment and treatment options
  • How to demonstrate to your colleagues/referral sources that pelvic health is the missing link in orthopaedic practice
  • How to get buy-in from other physiotherapists in order to improve patient outcomes
  • Killer strategies to deliver even more value to your patients and potential new referral sources
  • How to generate better referral sources and attract new patients

Benefits

This course enables participants to REFRAME the role of the hip in pelvic floor and lumbopelvic pain. The lumbopelvic-hip complex can be difficult to assess and treat effectively. Hip conditions, such as Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI) can be especially challenging to correctly identify and integrate into an effective treatment strategy for individuals with lumbopelvic pain.

In this live, online 6 hour course, participants will apply their knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy and learn a framework for treating the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex including ruling in or out mechanical pain, pelvic floor involvement and FAI assessment and treatment strategies.

Evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques will be emphasized. Participants will finish this course with an ability to understand and treat the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, including FAI and the pelvic floor component, improving their patient outcomes. Furthermore, they will be able to effectively communicate this to coworkers and referral sources increasing your referrals.
