This live, online course will be one 3 hour session.

Where: From the comfort of your favorite armchair.

How: All you need to take this live, online course is a Zoom account. We encourage you to sign up for your free Zoom account before the first session. You will receive your Zoom meeting link two weeks before the course begins.

    Syllabus

Upon completion of this course, participants will learn how to:

      • Explore evidence-based adult learning theories.
      • Reflect upon your experiences as both a student and a teacher.
      • Discover practical, evidence-based solutions to enable you to develop your teaching toolkit.

      Benefits

Education is a fundamental component of modern-day healthcare. Yet, despite its importance and despite the complex, challenging nature of helping others to make sense of the abstract science which underpins evidence-based care, the development of teaching skills remains largely unexplored by many clinicians. This three hour learning experience will explore how, by gaining a better understanding of educational theories, we may begin to better understand the challenges we face when teaching people in pain, and develop practical solutions to become a more effective practice-based educator.
