  • Subjective and objective assessment findings.
  • Results of any pain questionnaires they have administered.
  • Their treatment plan and treatment results, including sleep if they have already started to treat the presenting sleep problems.

Benefits

We all understand at some level the importance of getting a good night’s sleep. Sleep is vital for all mammals for physical, cognitive, emotional and social well being. A lot of the symptoms patients with persistent pain conditions experience can be directly related to their poor sleep.  In fact, research is now suggesting that poor sleep could be a driver to persistent pain as opposed to a consequence of it.

This course enables participants to REFRAME their understanding of the relationship between sleep and pain and improve their skills in the assessment and treatment of sleep problems.
